Question for Other Bloggers

I've been getting some seriously creepy emails. I've gotten some that are clearly just looking for me to link to their websites and probably have never actually read mine at all.

I've gotten others, though, like one I got today, that are particularly creepy. I find them particularly creepy because I can't tell what the author is looking for. It may be that it is just some pervert looking for details about my sex life, but the email I got today also talked about Christianity and DD. Somehow the author has gotten the impression that I am submissive to my husband because of my religious beliefs, which simply isn't the case.

I should probably blow this off, but it is just so icky. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

I think we all get these from time to time. I just hit delete!

i'm with sara--i just delete them. sometimes, i read them and pass them on to w, if they are particularly badly written or off-base, and then we both laugh a little, and *then* i delete them.

I got lots of these for a while, very weird, trying to offer physcoanalysis for my "problem" and abuse all at once.......set your options to allow moderation of comments so you can delete without them being published. If they are being ignored eventually they move on to bother someone else.

Ma'am.
The world is full of different people most good, some not so good, some downright weird. Putting your thoughts and fantasies online leaves you fair game for us who are "normal" but unfortuneately also for those who are a little perturbed. They believe becuase you talk about your life or fantasies they have a right to be involved. Just ignore them and live your life to the max. Worry about your own troubles, don't get to tied up with others problems - you can't fix them. As others have said the delete button works great.
